"New Orleans whiSOULing" is a compilation of a life-long journey and a celebration of my Deep South heritage. Reflected in some of the song selections is the two-year past history of our city; the Katrina Hurricane related trauma suffered by every New Orleans resident. Even today, in the fall of 2007 there remain over 100,000 displaced residents who have been torn from their beloved roots and have not returned to New Orleans. For all who had to evacuate in the fall of 2005 and to all those who remain displaced, I dedicate "Exodus" and "Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans." - Terry Rappold |
